Responsibilities:
1. Process Improvement & Cost Saving:
- Improve and evaluate production processes, including work instructions, tools, training, equipment, materials, and methods.
- Validate new processes, methods, and materials; prepare validation reports.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP): initiate projects, organize meetings, set goals, track progress, document improvements.
2. Standardization & Documentation:
- Standardize process changes and create necessary documentation such as flow charts and PFMEA.
- Analyze defects from various stations (processing, welding, molding, testing), propose solutions.
3. External Audit Support:
- Support customer audits on process flows within your area.
4. Other Duties: Complete tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
1. Basic English reading and writing skills.
2. Over 3 years of relevant experience (exceptional analytical skills can offset experience).
3. Familiar with project development and process improvement.
4. Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods like PDCA, DMAIC is a plus.
5. Hands-on experience in handling lines, welding, molding, or testing is advantageous.
6. Ability to design experiments (DOE) and analyze data using 6sigma techniques is preferred.
